I was pregnant with my first when I noticed something strange. I mentioned it during a routine OB appointment — the kind you show up to half‑tired, half‑hungry, and fully convinced you’re forgetting something important. That tiny moment of honesty changed my life.

Tests. Scans. Fear. And suddenly, I was fighting for myself and my baby at the same time.

I survived. I healed. But healing wasn’t just medical — it was emotional, identity‑level, soul‑deep. After treatment, I didn’t feel beautiful anymore. I didn’t feel like myself. I felt strong… but not beautiful.

One day, I made myself a pair of earrings. They weren’t perfect. They weren’t fancy. But they were mine — a small reminder that beauty still existed in me.
